Jake Minear

Executive Director/Chairman

Jake graduated from Edith Cowan University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in marketing. After working in marketing and distribution roles following university, Jake joined Michael Doust as joint Managing Director of Force until 2018, when Carl Bonham was appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Maintaining his role as Executive Director, and elected Chairman of the Company Board in 2020, Jake maintains an advisory role on key company projects, aligned with the corporate charter, its business plan and company values.

 

Michael Doust

Non-Executive Director

As a founding Director of the business in 1992, Michael maintained a role of Joint Managing Director of Force until the appointment of Carl Bonham as CEO, in 2018. With qualifications in electronic engineering, and as a Board member and Non-Executive Director, Michaels’ knowledge base continues to be shared across the wider business through his advisory role, particularly in core areas pertaining to data analytics, sourcing and design manufacturing.

 

 

Michael Brown

Non-Executive Director

Michael joined the Board in October 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.  Michael was a Director of Paragon Consultants from 1994 to 2015, providing taxation advice and business advisory services to SME’s across a wide range of industries.  During this period Michael regularly worked with business owners and management staff on accounting reporting systems, finance matters, commercial decision making and business strategy.  Since 2015, Michael has been providing specialist advisory services as a business coach, management accounting consultant and as a non-executive director.

 

Ian Gregory

Company Secretary

Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the provision of company secretarial, governance and business administration services with listed and unlisted companies in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, exploration, mining, mineral processing, banking and insurance.  Ian currently consults on company secretarial and governance matters to a number of listed and unlisted companies.
